Jallianwala Bagh massacre

It is accurate that the Jallianwala Bagh massacre that took place on 13 April 1919 was executed by an individual named O’Dyer. He stated that his aim was to educate Indians about the consequences of violating the law. For Indian eyes, O’ Dyer is seen as a villain devoid of any humanity. But who shot at the defenseless crowds at Jalianwala Bagh? British-paid Indian Sepoys. Had a single sepoy turned around and shot at O’Dyer, the massacre would never have occurred. However, that did not occur.

History shows that British or any other European (born Christians) have treated their fellow countrymen similarly to how Indians were treated by them at Jalianwala Bagh. It is worth mentioning that the British were originally ruthless sea pirates and they acquired gentlemanly behavior by observing India.

Saifuddin Kitchlew and Satyapal

Actually at Jallianwala Bagh people were protesting the arrest of two freedom fighters named Saifuddin Kitchlew and Satyapal on Baishakhi day. At that point, Mahatma Gandhi has recently emerged on the Indian stage. Bose and Nehru were both quite young.

The reality is that Indian Babus, driven by their own selfishness, exalt the British. By recalling and expressing regret over this tragic event, the British will take pride in having governed India with an iron fist.

It is noteworthy that even now, Britain (UK) is not a Democracy. It is a Kingdom.

In reality, the individuals who fired on the gatherers with rifles at Jalianwala Bagh were soldiers from India. Approximately 1000 lost their lives in the massacre. Regardless of whether it was O’dyer or the Soldiers who fired upon unarmed individuals at Jallianwala Bagh, they were Indian agents of the Government of India. Initially, the Government of India should pardon the act and then request the same from the British.

I believe Indians should feel embarrassed for firing at our own citizens without any remorse. The letter above was composed by me in reply to the news article, “Jallianwala Bagh massacre ‘deeply shameful’, states British PM Cameron,” dated 20.2.13. “This was an intensely disgraceful event in British history.” “David Cameron remarked that it was one that Winston Churchill accurately characterized as monstrous at that time.”
