Indian Democracy is a gift of Nehru: A large number of people in India overlook the reality that Indian democracy is a legacy of Nehru. The Indian nation operates its governance on Democratic and Republican ideals as outlined by Nehru in the Constitution of India. He was the one who understood the idea of equal rights for all citizens and universal suffrage for adults. According to his desires, the Constitution provides voting rights to everyone regardless of gender, religion, area, or language.
India’s government is managed by a Cabinet of ministers accountable to the Parliament. Jawaharlal Nehru stated that our Government would resemble the Westminster system found in England. (While England is a monarchy, India is a republic.)
The President of India, who is the Head of Government, is chosen by an Electoral College made up of Representatives of the populace from the Central Parliament and the State Legislatures.
India, despite being referred to as a Union, is not a Union of States in the strict sense, as States did not come together to create a Federation before the formation of the Union of India.

The President of India, who serves as the Head of Government, is chosen by an Electoral College made up of Parliament members at the Center and representatives from State Legislatures.
States are governed from New Delhi via Governors selected by New Delhi.
States will have Legislatures located in their Capitals. Voters elect Legislators from their respective constituencies.
Typically, Panchayat Raj exists as envisioned by Mahatma Gandhi, who claimed that Indian villages resemble small republics.
The letter above is my response to the news article, “No differences with Sonia Gandhi: PM Manmohan Singh,” dated. 01.06.13. ..On Friday, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh stated that there were no disagreements between him and Congress party leader Sonia Gandhi

Rather a foolish debate. The political party has received the authority to govern the nation. This is the reason why MPs from different parties create legislation in the Lok Sabha. The Prime Minister needs to implement a policy beneficial for the nation, taking into account public opinion, which is provided as insight by political party leaders. It’s always beneficial to seek advice from senior leaders, including those from opposing parties. The government interacts with diverse public opinions, such as chambers of commerce, business leaders, NGOs, think tanks, and specialists, before finalizing strategies, policies, and implementation

Nicelyput. Your reasoning is sound and persuasive,in contrast to the other emarks, which are based on bias rather than rational thought.
Reasons for the Prime Minister toseek the Party president’sinput on most matters regarding Government Policies. If the performance of the Government in New Delhi is any indication, Indian democracy is moving backwards
Let’s examine a case that Jawaharlal Nehru established in Indian politics. In 1946, Nehru became part of the interim Government and stepped down as Party president, asserting that he could not hold both positions simultaneously. J B Kripalani became the Party president at that time. Kripalani sought to emphasize that the Party President and its Working Committee ought to play a direct role in shaping government policy. Nehru and Patel rejected Kripalani’s argument, stating that the government’s proceedings and documents were confidential and could not be disclosed to someone outside the government
Certainly, Kripalani stepped down from his position in 1947 dueto the matter, and Babu Rajendra Prasad assumed the roleof Party president.
Our Constitution states that the leader chosen by the largest political party is to govern, rather than the President of that political party. What is the state of the current administration under the UPA? Democratic principles established by our founding fathers in the Constitution are completely disregarded. The PM openly admits that he is sharing every government decision with his Party president, who has not taken the oath of office or secrecy
