Parliament sidelined
Parliament sidelined: In the British era, external affairs were removed from the Central Legislator’s scope, meaning Parliament was overlooked to protect British interests, thus making the British Indian Government subordinate to the British Parliament. Referring to the Government of India Act 1919, it stipulated that the Military, Air Force, Navy, and India’s relations with Foreign Powers were solely under the Governor General’s authority.
In 1935, foreign affairs, churchmatters, and defense were also removed from the Central Legislator.
Although the authors of our Constitution clearlystated that wehave a Parliamentary Democracy, they overlooked the need to amend or revokespecific clauses related to the Government’s Powers concerning foreign relations.

Notably, in 1940, the Indian National Congress had all its elected representatives from the Central Legislature resign in protest of the British India Government’s unilateral decision to enter the Second World War. Their strong opposition was not to the war effort against Nazi Germany, but because the British Government of India entered the War without the approval of the Central Legislators who represented the People of India through the general election conducted in 1937

The nation is governed by a small group on behalf of a Government that excludes the Parliament. There seems to possibly be a System malfunction.

Sovereign Democratic Republic
Regardless of the status of Bye laws, India was officiallyproclaimed a Sovereign Democratic Republic in 1948 by the Constituent Assembly withoutambiguity.
Pundit Nehru firmly expressed that the type of Democracy India ought to have is a Parliamentary Democracy modeled after the British Westminster system, where all actions taken by Ministers in office are collectively accountable to Parliament. It should be noted that our Democracy is better in both letter and spirit than the British model, as in England, sovereignty lies with the King, while in India, sovereignty is held by the People, who exercise it through their elected representatives in Parliament
The issue of the Foreign Affairs being exempt from the Indian Parliament’s oversight did not generate much debate in the past, as the Country was led by strong Patriots like Jawahar Lal Nehru, Indira Priyadarshini, P V Narasimharao, and others. However, the circumstances have changed completely. Members of Parliament have turned into silent onlookers, unaware of their Powers and neglectful of their responsibilities. They are all preoccupied with protecting their own fiefdoms/constituencies instead of focusing on the country.
Self–rule
During the British era, External affairs were not included in the scope of the Parliament at that time – the Central Legislator was designed to protect British interests; consequently, the British Indian Government was placed under the authority of the British Parliament. Following India’s independence, the British Parliament’s supremacy over the Indian Government came to an end. Currently, Delhi under Dr. Manmohan aims to plunge India into the dominance of the USA, validating the century-old prejudice that ‘Indians are unqualified for self-governance.’
Preserve India’s Independence. New Delhi understands that the Indo-US nuclear agreement harms India’s sovereignty and opposes the desires of the Indian people, especially if the prevention of debate on the matter in Lok Sabha under Rule 184 and in Rajya Sabha under Rule 168 serves as evidence. When a political party prioritizes its narrow and self-serving interests over National interests, it becomes unpatriotic and must be restrained at all costs
All Chief Ministers of Indian States must address this issue without delay, as the government’s actions in this respect have significant implications for India’s National Sovereignty. India, as a nation, should not be placed under the control of the USA by New Delhi led by a political party holding only ¼ of the parliamentary seats. The moment has arrived for everyone to take action, transcending political divides to safeguard India’s sovereignty.
Indo-US Nuclear agreement and the Left (CPM). Rather than shouting outside Parliament, the Left ought to take decisive action. Right after the road shows, Left ought to present it to the Parliament. Individuals are not naive enough to accept what is said on the streets unless the Left demonstrates its credibility in Parliament. Parliament serves as the people’s forum to address socio-political matters. Somnath Chatarji must step down as Lok Sabha Speaker to convince the public that the Left – CPM supports the nation
Henry Kissinger’s prediction: The BJP needs to cease wavering between India’s independence and its philosophy of amicable relations with the West, particularly the USA, since ‘any nation that allies with the USA will ultimately find itself under its (USA’s) dominance’ – a prediction by Henry Kissinger that consistently proves true in practice. The interests of Pakistan take precedence over any actions in South Asia (the Indian Subcontinent) for the USA. It caused devastation in Iraq to protect Israel. It is currently focusing on Iran.
In the strategy, if India is constrained by the Nuclear Deal, Pakistan stands to gain first, and eventually, all developing nations will once again be subservient to the US and UK in the near future.
